  • Home Care Assistance has been exceptional in meeting needs of Diamond Geriatrics' clients and coming through with caregivers in emergency situations which required quick follow through. Their management and staff are easily accessible. The caregivers themselves have been caring and very competent. I would without hesitation endorse Home Care Assistance.

  • Home Care Assistance has been servicing our Clients well. They are very responsive when we need a caregiver, usually able to provide one within the same day. Their caregivers are all competent and compassionate and their management and office staff are very involved and accessible. I would highly recommend them.

  • I wanted to send a quick note of appreciation after this last week of intensive interaction with your staff, including especially Janice and Helen, for our mother. We had a couple of issues that I did discuss promptly with both of your case manager supervisors, and I would like to especially commend their immediate engagement, evident professionalism and continued personal courtesy throughout our communications. I have also been impressed that Helen and Janice have provided quite seamless supervisory assistance as they transition between coverage and both of them have provided a very high level of professional service that I want to acknowledge and for which I’d also like express my sincere appreciation. I have been less directly involved with the primary caretakers attending to our mother, but through the recent ER and post-ER experience, I also want to note that our mother’s mood has very much improved . She is very grateful for the care and companionship she has received and her current mental state reflects that.

  • Home Care Assistance provided exceptional service for my grandfather. They were also supportive of myself (his granddaughter and support person). They were also able to flex very quickly to his change in care needs.. I valued the loving care that he was provided and I also valued the knowledge that should his needs have changed quickly (which they did), Carolina and her team were able to adapt.
Carlene Stokes, Nurse at Vancouver General Hospital

It’s never easy to realize that your family needs more help than the family can provide on its own, and the decision to reach for outside support can be difficult. In 2006, my mom was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. My parents live in a house on their own and for the past five years, I watched my mom’s mobility and level of independence steadily decrease, and my dad’s levels of stress and responsibility significantly increase. My sister and I looked into several home care organizations and ultimately, decided upon Home Care Assistance. We were impressed with their balanced approach to care, and their thorough and genuine efforts to get to know my mom and find a Caregiver best suited for her needs. Home Care Assistance has been a huge source of support for both my parents. With the help of her Caregiver, my mom can participate in the activities she loves without needing to depend on my dad to accompany her. My dad can now enjoy some relaxing time on his own. In many ways, Home Care Assistance has given my parents a part of their life back. It has been such a relief knowing that they are in such safe and professional hands.
