"They have been instrumental in assisting with staffing needs when they arise and also providing one-on-one care for my residents."
"I have had the pleasure of working with the Home Care Assistance team for several years now. They have been instrumental in assisting with staffing needs when they arise and also providing one-on-one care for my residents when health care needs arise."- S.S. Seattle, WA
"This process has been very daunting but having the Home Care Assistance team in my corner reduced the leg work as well as the unknown factors from my stress load."
"Seriously great help! We are beginning the process of transitioning our mother from living in her own house to downsizing and selling her home. This process has been very daunting but having the Home Care Assistance team in my corner reduced the leg work as well as the unknown factors from my stress load. I appreciate working with an organization that "meets you where you are" and then works to find the appropriate resources to fill your needs. We did not need every service available through HCA, however, knowing that the additional services existed and where to access them was key for us. Knowing where to go for the next step and having a game plan while transitioning our mother has been a godsend. "- C.K. Vancouver, WA
"It is difficult for me as my parents become more frail and I want them to be in a place that is safe, comfortable and happy. That place happens to be their home and Home Care Assistance understands this."
"After trying to settle my parents in a senior living complex, they moved back to their house. Despite both being in their 90's, they wanted to maintain their independence and stay in their home. My brothers, who both live out of state, and I had discussed having someone come in to give them a hand, which they reluctantly agreed to. They wanted someone who spoke either Japanese or Taiwanese, their native languages. Our Home Care Liaison was up for the challenge and, amazingly, had a candidate ready for us within a week. It is difficult for me as my parents become increasingly frail and I want them to be in a place that is safe, comfortable and happy. That place happens to be their home and Home Care Assistance understands this. You can't really prepare for this and to say it's hard is an understatement, but I feel like Home Care Assistance is there with us and adjusting as we go along to make it work for my parents."- K.S. Seattle, WA
"High-touch and hands-on with everything they do."

"Their professionalism and ability to make you feel comfortable is unparalleled!"
"Home Care Assistance is as good as it gets in home care. I run an assisted living home and use Home Care Assistance to staff caregivers from time to time. Each time, I have been nothing but impressed with how the caregivers provide care. You can really tell they have a tough screening process to ensure they only hire the best! Their professionalism and ability to make you feel comfortable is unparalleled! Thank you, Home Care Assistance! "- P.S. Bothell, WA
"The Home Care Liaison we worked with was thoughtful, intelligent, empathic and caring."
"I am truly grateful to Home Care Assistance Seattle. A family member was in crisis with medical issues, extreme anxiety and a pending surgery. I went to visit her on a Thursday night and seriously thought I was going to have to take her to the ER and have her go in-patient. Instead, I called Home Care Assistance. They put me in touch with someone who could come over to organize my family member's house and clear out the clutter, as well as someone to take the lead on medical issues. The Home Care Liaison we worked with was thoughtful, intelligent, empathic and caring. She sent over a team of round-the-clock caregivers after surgery and they have been wonderful! One young woman is an amazing cook and my family member and I have been truly fortunate to eat her wonderful Ethiopian dinners!"- A.R. Seattle, WA
"I cannot say how grateful I am for all the help I've gotten from Home Care Assistance, especially when I thought I was totally on my own recovering from surgery. "
"Home Care Assistance is staffed with warm and professional people and their team has ensured that the caregivers who come to my house are compatible with me. I cannot say how grateful I am for all the help I've gotten from Home Care Assistance, especially when I thought I was totally on my own recovering from surgery. "- C.R. Seattle, WA
"They are excellent at designing and implementing a care plan that fits the needs of each client and flexible when that plan needs adjustments."
"I've been in the senior services sector for over 12 years now assisting homeowners with their reverse mortgage needs. Over those years, I've personally witnessed and have had the opportunity to refer many different home care assistance companies. With that as background, I can tell you that, from what I've seen, Home Care Assistance is at the very top of my list. They are extremely responsive, answering initial inquiry calls on nights and weekends. They are courteous and understanding in dealing with family members. And, they are excellent at designing and implementing a care plan that fits the needs of that person and flexible when that plan needs adjustments. When it was time for my great friend, Floyd, to have more assistance around his home due to declining health, it was a no-brainer to call up my trusted contact at Home Care Assistance and introduce her to Floyd and his family. It's really gratifying on both a professional level and on a personal level to partner with such a top-notch company. I highly recommend their services."- M.M.
"Gentle and truly caring."
"My 92-year-old mother needed one-on-one care to help her adjust to her new living situation. I worked with the Home Care Assistance staff who helped staff my mother quickly with 24-hour caregivers. All of the caregivers were gentle and truly caring. The staff continues to check on my mother's wellbeing. My mother is now much happier living in her new assisted living residence. I appreciate Home Care Assistance for being so professional in helping my mother."- B.B. Seattle, WA
"I almost cried with joy!"
"I work with seniors as a musical therapist and focus on brain health as part of all of the elements of wellness. What feels like a disaster to them is moving out of their homes earlier than I think and they think is necessary. I learned that lifestyle accounts for the majority of dementia. I discovered the ideal solution this week, as I did a talk about senior wellness. The company Home Care Assistance! This is the only home care company I have seen to bring a thoroughly researched "Cognitive Therapeutics Method" program to keep their brains sharp. I almost cried with joy to see this! Home Care Assistance is my vote for seniors staying in their homes with what I have passionately pursued as proactive brain fitness!"- K.G. Seattle, WA
"They have worked their magic consistently with other residents and families as well."
"Home Care Assistance has become the go-to for support for our residents at Maple Leaf Assisted Living & Memory Care. Our contact has been extremely responsive and the staff that has worked with our residents have been caring and professional. For just one example, when one of our new residents was suffering from debilitating anxiety over her transition, one of the Home Care Assistance staff members came to visit her with flowers and sat with her patiently for hours to help her work through her difficulty until she felt calmer and reassured. The resident very quickly began easing into her new environment without the anxiety she had been feeling. They have worked their magic consistently with other residents and families as well. I would highly recommend this amazing service."- M.M. Seattle, WA
"The caregivers on the evening shift made sure he didn't miss evening social events, prompted him when he couldn't remember things and stayed with him overnight while he got over his anxiety."
"After an illness, and challenged by mild dementia, our uncle needed to move into a different senior living community. It was a challenge for him to have to relearn everything from a new room number to all the schedules for meals, trips and classes, as well as meet and remember all the new people. He was overwhelmed and depressed. Home Care Assistance sent wonderful caregivers to spend the days helping our uncle get familiar with his routines, remind him of names, and boost his confidence. The caregivers on the evening shift made sure he didn't miss evening social events, prompted him when he couldn't remember things and stayed with him overnight while he got over his anxiety. This company works hard to pair each person with the right caregivers and the caregivers always showed up on time, with great attitudes. I highly recommend the office staff for their kind, caring, and efficient help with scheduling and finances and the caregivers for the kind and respectful manner in which they treat their clients. Wonderful employees all around!"- C.D. Seattle, WA
"They treat each of their clients as if they were family."
"Here at Ballard Landmark, the care standards are high and our residents mean the world to us. When a situation arises, it is important to have go-to care assistance that offers quality patient care while managing pain and treating symptoms. For the past six months, the staff at Home Care Assistance have responded to our requests enthusiastically with timely and knowledgeable service and care. Home Care Assistance is the only company I refer my clients to. The team is responsive, ethical and ultimately in the business of caring for seniors for all the right reasons. They treat each of their clients as if they were family, resulting in a level of service that is superior to their competition. It is evident how much the staff values their caregivers by the investment they make in each employee through rigorous background checks and annual trainings. Due to the value they place on their staff, the employees are of an extremely high caliber. I would not only refer professional clients to the Home Care Assistance team but my family as well."- Mindy Byers and the Ballard Landmark Team Seattle, WA

Kathryn started out in the home care industry right after graduating from college. Her first job in the industry was in a 65 person lock down dementia nursing home and she immediately felt a connection with the residents she took care of. After trying her hand in various long-term care facilities, she realized dementia and hospice care were her two passions. Growing up, Kathryn was blessed to have her Grandpa Ed at every track meet, cross country race and any other event imaginable. He had 35 grandchildren and even more great-grandchildren, yet when you were with him he made you feel like you were the only one. Between him and her parents, Kathryn learned early on to have a deep admiration and respect for the wisdom of older generation. Eventually being a CNA led Kathryn to meet her husband and start their own home care agency, which they operated for four years in the Spokane, WA area. Kathryn truly enjoys her job because she feels that she can help both caregivers and clients achieve a high quality of life. It is her way of giving back to those who have given so much to our communities and nation. Kathryn loves being able to surround herself every day with individuals who want to give back to their community.
