Meet the San Mateo Team
Ani brings nearly a decade of experience in health care to Home Care Assistance, having worked in hospice and home health before choosing the home care field. She has a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration/Management with a minor in Business Administration and uses these skills to offer first class support to clients. This combined with her previous experience as a Senior Care Manager in our Palo Alto office makes her successful as Head of Operations for San Mateo. Her passion for developing the client-caregiver relationship allows her to expertly match clients for optimal satisfaction and comfort. She enjoys seeing clients thrive through these relationships and is happy to be a part of such a rewarding industry.
Bridget Lynch, is a world traveler with a Bachelors of Occupational Therapy and over 8 years of specialized hands-on experience as a discharge planner and a community health leader, having worked on projects at the University of Australia, the UK National Health Service, and Stanford University. In addition, Bridget is also an expert on community health and safety and conducts home safety inspections, allowing her to provide clients and families with exceptional leadership and expert guidance during difficult transitions.
Before starting a career with HCA, Christlyn was a CNA/Caregiver for more than 4 years. This is great experience to have in her new position as she is seeking out qualified caregivers who will provide excellent care to their clients. Christlyn loves her job because she gets to match wonderful caregivers to the right clients and feels she is making an important contribution to her office and HCA as a whole.
Grace brings over four years of professional experience in the home health and her CHT (Certified Hemodialysis Technician). Her experience and current position entails for her to help with caregiver recruitment and training, as well as matching skilled and knowledgeable caregivers with clients based on the client's needs and preference. Grace enjoys finding the best and most reliable caregivers in the industry to serve her client's growing needs and ensure high quality care.
Katie brings 2 years of home care coordination experience to her position as Client Care Manager. Her favorite aspect of this challenging field is working with families to solve problems and maximize older adults' quality of life. She feels that when we care for seniors with compassion and understanding, both older adults and their loved ones can make the most of this precious time together. Katie looks forward to bringing peace of mind to clients and their loved ones.
Sharon brings over 15 years of experience as a medical assistant to her role at Home Care Assistance. For the last ten years, she worked for a concierge medical practice where she gave high touch quality care to the geriatric patients. Sharon specialized in wound care and phlebotomy. She understands the difficulties of care on a personal level, as she currently cares for her aging father with the help of her sister.
Vanessa brings marketing, sales and member communication experience, specifically in social media, newsletters and any form of communication, to her role at Home Care Assistance. She worked closely with customer experience in her previous roles, making sure their experiences were top notch. She received her degree in business marketing and believes this has taught her how to create meaningful connections with all of her clients. She strives to provide a positive customer experience to everyone. She has always loved caring for others and making sure others are happy. Personal experiences with her grandparents are part of what led her to Home Care Assistance. At the end of the day, she knows she has been successful if she has made a positive impact in her community.
James brings over 15 years of customer service experience to his position at Home Care Assistance. He prides himself on his ability to provide quality customer service and understand the needs of those he serves. He has a genuine passion for helping people, which is what drew him to the home care industry. He looks forward to making a difference in the lives of seniors and their loved ones every day.
Laura has over a decade of experience in the medical field, where she has served as a medical assistant and front office manager. She is a certified MA with the state of California and worked for 10 years with an Internal Medicine DR who specialized in Geriatrics. Laura enjoys helping families and making them aware of all the options they have regarding home care. She hopes to help seniors live safely and independently at home.
Elaina brings over 10 years of customer service experience to her role at Home Care Assistance, Her specialty is educating clients on our services with compassion and understanding. Elaina loves working as a client advocate to help each client find the best solution for their needs. Relieving stress from family caregivers and helping seniors to remain in their homes is what she finds most fulfilling in her role. Elaina's favorite part about working in customer service is answering the questions a client may not have even realized they need to ask. She aims to take as much of the work off of the client as possible, making the process as stress-free as possible. She looks forward to making a difference in the lives of local seniors!
Mina is a Licensed Vocational Nurse and began her career in health care in 2011. Since then, she has learned a lot in her many roles. She started as a hospice nurse and then became a nurse for concierge doctor, home health nurse, and intake coordinator for a home health & caregiving agency. Mina believes that helping people who can't help themselves is what we are here for. By working for Home Care Assistance, she feels she can make a difference in the lives of seniors and help the home care industry thrive.
Danielle brings over 20 years of customer service and operations experience to her position at Home Care Assistance. Danielle started in the health care industry in 2014 as a Managed Care Coordinator for a specialty pharmacy. She worked closely with patients and physicians coordinating their pharmacy care plan. Danielle has a genuine passion for helping people and serving the senior community. At Home Care Assistance, she looks forward to making a difference in the live's of our clients and their loved ones.
Yvonne has over ten years of experience in the medical field, working for a large in-home respiratory provider. She worked closely with physicians and hospitals to provide life-sustaining equipment dedicated to keeping aging seniors in their own homes. Yvonne is skilled at working with clients’ loved ones to help ensure an easy transition even though the seniors may have difficult health issues. She finds fulfillment in knowing that working in the home care field makes a difference in clients’ lives in a time of need.
