We strive to inform and educate. Here is a small sample of resources we have to offer to help you make the best decision for your family.

If you are searching for in-home services for your aged parents or grandparents you may find that is difficult to decide which one of the numerous companies in your area you can trust with the care of your loved ones. The most reliable way to choose a home care service company is to rely on the recommendations of others who have had experience with a trusted company. If a loved one in your family is suffering from a serious condition such as Dementia, Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease and are not able to care for themselves, you may want to consider in-home care instead of having them placed in a healthcare facility, an option that is also more affordable.

Caregiver for your loved ones in the comfort of their own house in San Dimas, California 91773

One of the major benefits of home care services is that it gives the patient time to become accustomed to a stranger who is providing them with care. It has been found that if a patient is taken out of their home where they have been living for many years and directly placed into a facility it may cause the condition they are suffering from to become worse. That is why it is very important to rather look for an in-home healthcare assistance company like Home Care Assistance with qualified caregivers to provide your loved ones with the care they need in the comfort of their own home instead of putting them through the trauma of relocation.

Senior Care

There are several different types of elderly assistance services available, one of which will be suitable for your particular needs and circumstances. Some of the services offered by our caregivers include administering medication, assistance with meals, exercise, dressing, and personal hygiene.

Elderly Care

The level of assistance will depend on the particular circumstances of the individual. For example, if a patient has a debilitating disease, has suffered a stroke, or has cancer, they may need more assistance than someone who is simply too old to care for themselves.

Alzheimer's Care

Patients suffering from the debilitating effects of Alzheimer’s disease may have mild cognitive impairment, vascular dementia, or HIV related cognitive disabilities. It is a type of dementia that develops quickly and can be treated by medical professionals, however, home care is one of the options that could be considered.

Parkinson's Care

If your loved one has Parkinson’s disease they will develop tremors that make it difficult for them to remain mobile for long. Patients with Parkinson’s also lose their ability to smell. The condition has five stages and as they progress through the stages it will become increasingly difficult for them to function normally due to the loss of their motor function abilities. When this happens homecare assistance is one of the options that could be considered.

Dementia Care

Dementia is a mental disease that can cause reduced concentration levels and problems with memory. Individuals with dementia find it difficult to recall recent events and because of this often fall into depression. Because they are unable to care for themselves or perform simple daily tasks, a professional assistant or nurse trained in the medical profession can help make their lives much easier.

Stroke Care

If your loved one has had a stroke they will be in need of physical assistance. In most cases of stroke at least one side of the person’s body has been adversely affected and in some cases, they have been paralyzed. Stroke victims need constant care at home or full-time care from medical professionals in a healthcare facility.

Cancer Care

Dealing with cancer is one of the most challenging things a person can go through in their lives. Even if a person suffering from cancer has gone into remission, there is always a constant threat that it may return which makes life very stressful. Cancer can impair a person’s ability to function normally, both mentally and physically. Professional homecare by qualified and skilled healthcare providers can make life much easier for cancer patients, particularly if they are elderly.

About Our Caregiving Services

All our caregivers are certified and highly skilled to provide your loved one with the best possible care. They have been trained to provide assistance to people who have suffered from debilitating diseases such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, cancer, and stroke. They are dedicated to their work and eager to help your loved ones get through the difficulties of daily life by assisting them with everything they need.
