We strive to inform and educate. Here is a small sample of resources we have to offer to help you make the best decision for your family.

Home Care Assistance has been in the business of providing professional and reliable home care for seniors for a number of years. They provide high-quality services that you may want to benefit from. Whether you are looking for home care services for your grandparents, parent, or any other person that is elderly within your family, rest assured they will be cared for well when you make the decision to start using one of the expert carers from Home Care Assistance.

Caregiving for your loved ones in the comfort of their own home

One of the main reasons why many people prefer home care has to do with that elderly people feel more comfortable in an environment that they are used to. Instead of trying to place them into a community that is usually gated for seniors, you have the opportunity to send out a professional to their home. In some cases, this will be the only way that an elderly person will accept that they need help. This is generally the case for people that are getting older that now require elderly care.

Senior Care

A senior care facility may become the only option at a later stage, yet for now, offering your loved one with a home-care based service may be an appropriate option. They may be suffering from a condition or disease that has made it difficult or maybe even impossible for the individual to take care of themselves. For example, they may start forgetting to take their medication, or even forget people they have known for their entire life.

Elderly Care

These issues often arise from well documented and known conditions like Alzheimer's, dementia, or Parkinson’s. Contact our twenty four hour elder care services.

Alzheimer's

One of the main reasons as to why a condition like Alzheimer’s may require that you need the services on offer through Home Care Assistance is that this disease affects the cognitive conditions and behavior of the individual. They may start forgetting things or even imagining things that are not there. Their behavior may become erratic, which is an indication that they now need professional in-home assistance.

Parkinson’s Disease

This is a condition that is linked with causing a number of different symptoms. This may include stiffness, slow movements, and even loss-of-balance. When the individual starts to experience shuffling gait or muscle rigidity, this will often result in the need for in-home care to help the elderly person to get around.

Dementia Care

Symptoms associated with dementia are linked with cognitive, behavioral, and psychological conditions. This disease can also affect the individual's control over their muscles. A person with dementia can easily become lost, they will start to hallucinate and in some cases develop paranoia.

Stroke Care

Even though experiencing something like a heart attack is often extremely debilitating, the stroke victims will often experience some form of paralysis. This often makes it difficult or even impossible for the person to carry on caring for themselves. The stroke may affect their abilities to speak or move, and this can eventually develop into other cognitive issues. This is when in-home care provided by a professional medical company is really useful.

Cancer Care

If your loved one or any other elderly individual that is a part of your direct family has been diagnosed with cancer, you can speak to one of the expert representatives from Home Care Assistance to assist you in getting the help that they need. It becomes important that treatments are provided on time, as well as taking the right medications when they are in the process of fighting such a debilitating disease.

About Our Caregivers

Caregivers that work for Home Care Assistance are happy to talk to you about the different services they can provide for your loved one. Home Care Assistance is backed by a long-standing reputation of only sending out highly-trained professionals to homes that require in-home care. They are able to provide care to the individuals that are suffering from the conditions that were listed above. If you are interested in speaking to Home Care Assistance, they will be more than willing to give you more information about the different programs and services on offer.

Home Health Aide

The Home Health Aides will typically work with health-care professionals like nurses. Some of the common duties that the Home Health Aides provide include keeping records of the patient’s progress which becomes useful when the need arises to let a nurse or doctor know about any changes that are sudden.

The home-health aide will also assist with the general health-care tasks which include administering medication, checking the pulse and temperature of the patient, dressing and changing, and assisting with walking aids or artificial limbs. The home-health aides with advanced training can also assist patients with medical devices and ventilators.

24 Hour Care

There are many reasons why 24-hour home care becomes necessary. In addition, the right level of care can help to lower tension and stress that the family members usually go through. Regardless of whether you need these services for a few weeks or even years, Home Care Assistance provides personalized care, so that your parent, loved one, or grandparent can feel cared for, safe, and comfortable 24-hours a day in San Diego County California.
