Hear What Our Clients Are Saying About Home Care Assistance

Home Care Assistance came to the rescue for our family this past weekend and we are so thankful! After years of providing wonderful in-home care for our loved ones, there was an unfortunate elevator malfunction and accident that led to the need to move the folks into a supposedly safer Assisted Living facility nearby. Home Care Assistance came to the rescue when we realized our folks were not being properly assisted or supervised inside the very high priced facility. At one point on short notice, the co-owner at the time came and spent the night by the side of her former client just to get her through the night until proper staff coverage could be organized. I have NEVER experienced such devoted and compassionate service! We are very thankful for the devoted, high-quality employees at Home Care Assistance.

Words can not express the gratitude I have for this wonderful agency and its professional and heartfelt staff. They are the brothers and sisters I never had. Thank you all for your genuine thoughtfulness and attention to detail.

In desperate need of help for my grandfather who was beginning to show signs of dementia, I came across Home Care Assistance online. I submitted an online inquiry and received a reply in just under an hour. From that point forward the effective communication never let up and I didn't feel as if I was being sold. They even offered to help us look into other facilities/options should they not be the right fit for us. The symptoms of dementia often affect the family as well the person diagnosed and I felt like they kept this in mind throughout the process. The lead caregiver for my grandfather is an effective communicator in relation to the cognitive decline occurring and, more importantly, very compassionate and patient. They will even do an assessment wherever you'd like and don't bill you for the first day of service. Thank you!

My husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer's a few years ago. I was his sole caregiver until it got to the point where he could not be left alone for even a minute. I talked with many friends, neighbors and Alzheimer's groups and phoned many health-care services at their recommendations. Home Care Assistance is the only one that gave me good "vibes" over the phone. When the Care Manager came to our house to go over their services, I immediately felt comfortable with him. I was very reluctant to leave my husband with "a stranger" but after meeting some of the caregivers, I felt much more at ease. My husband had three of their caregivers altogether and they were all lovely ladies. One day I was an hour late getting back home and a staff member covered for the caregiver, who had to leave. I apologized profusely for being late, and she couldn't have been more gracious in assuring me that it had not been a problem. The most recent caregiver was a nursing student, which was very helpful since my husband had also developed some non-Alzheimer's health issues and was on hospice care. The hospice nurses said they'd train the caregivers in whatever procedures my husband might need (such as turning him or helping him to the bathroom). The Home Care Assistance team said that they had lots of experience working with the hospice firms in the area and that they'd be ready and able to work hand-in-hand with medical professionals. To be able to leave my husband with someone I could trust to do the right thing was a supreme stress-reliever.

The Home Care Assistance team is outstanding, understanding, responsive, caring and considerate. They have been providing services to my elderly parents for over a year now. Our caregiver helps with dressing, bathing, shopping, cleaning, cooking and driving. We are blessed to have her in our lives!

Caregiver For Your Loved Ones In The Comfort Of Their Own House In Redondo Beach California

Home care assistance is a solution most disabled people and the elderly require for them to continue living within the comfort of their own homes. According to studies, people in need of personal assistance tend to do much better in environments that they are familiar with and feel comfortable in. However, because of their medical conditions or physical state, they still require assistance when it comes to handling daily tasks and sticking to their medical care regiment and that is where home care assistance comes into the picture.

Senior Care

The elderly and most seniors can continue living in their homes as long as they are getting the assistance they need.

Elderly Care

If their need is centered around getting daily personal care and assistance for tasks such as dressing, assistance with housekeeping, meal management and preparation or bathing, a caregiver can offer this, consequently improving their quality of life.

Alzheimer’s Care

People with Alzheimer’s will often do much better when they are in familiar living situations. With caregivers, Alzheimer’s patient can continue living at home, where they are comfortable, while still receiving the assistance and care they require to guarantee their safety.

Parkinson’s Care

Patients struggling with Parkinson’s disease will often require more care and assistance since their condition tends to progress over time. A caregiver can become the patient’s hands and help them perform the different tasks they no longer can perform by themselves.

Dementia Care

Just like Alzheimer’s, this condition affects the patient’s mental aptitude and only gets worse as time goes by. It is worth noting that dementia is different between two patients " which means that the level and type of care patients receive will vary from client to client.

Stroke Care

Strokes can completely alter the life of a person since it may leave them fully or partially paralyzed on one side of their body. As a result, stroke victims can no longer get around as easily as they used to before. With a caregiver, stroke patients can receive the assistance they need to move around and in handling daily responsibilities.

Cancer Care

People who have cancer and who are receiving treatment often need help going to the hospital and back, having meals prepared, and housekeeping. Caregivers can become their personal assistants and will handle such tasks for them as they recover from their treatment. From helping their clients plan meals and shopping for them, to keeping them company as they receive treatment, a caregiver will be by the patient’s side providing the moral and emotional support they need.

About Our Caregiving Services Rolling Hills Estates, CA

Every caregiver working for us is a highly-trained professional who has received training on how to handle and treat clients with respect regardless of their medical or physical condition. They have all undergone a background check and are all certified to offer caregiving solutions in various situations. They always watch out for warning signs to see if a client needs further services because of any medical changes and report cases as required. A qualified caregiver will do everything in his or her power to safeguard the safety, happiness, and comfortability of the patient " and this will sometimes be more for some patients compared to others. Dementia, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s patients will often require more focused care than the elderly and seniors whose main problem is that they can no longer get around with ease. Nevertheless, a professional caregiver will always be looking for ways and options to improve a patient’s quality of life by assisting them with their daily schedules and activities. Read More
