Meet The Care Team

Meg Haebig, RN

RN Supervisor

Meg is a Registered Nurse with 30 years of nursing experience that began in the Army Nurse Corps. Her strong sense of family brought her to the home care field, where she has worked for 3 years. Meg believes home care empowers our clients. They gain a sense of control over their environment and the ability to surround themselves with well-trained and friendly caregivers. It is her job to asses every client for their individual needs and create a plan of care that will keep them safe and comfortable in familiar surroundings.

Angela Wright-Currin

Head of Operations

Angela is a creative long-term care executive specializing in senior living, marketing and operations with over 20 years experience. Her professional career has been dedicated to seniors and their support systems. She has comprehensive experience with the special needs and considerations of the aging population personally and professionally. Angela enjoys working closely with family members, seniors and community partners to provide older adults with quality care that enables them to live healthier, happier lives at home.

Jamie Summerford

Director of Operations

Jamie Summerford has lived in Raleigh for 25 years and brings eight years of industry experience to her role with Home Care Assistance. She is responsible for ensuring that the administrative activities within the office run efficiently, by providing structure to other employees throughout the organization. Jamie prides herself on making things easier for caregivers and seniors in any way, no matter how small. She is the mother of three sons (ages 13, 16 and 21) and they have a very special rescue dog, named “Callie.” Since two of her sons play Lacrosse, you will always find her on the sidelines, cheering them on.

Jaleh Neshat

Community Liaison

Jaleh operated Home Care Assistance Raleigh for over thirteen years until she decided to transition and focus her efforts on being an advocate for the seniors, specifically the ones suffering from dementia. She has personal experience dealing with the hardships of Alzheimer's disease and dementia in her own family and experienced the difficulties that families go through in trying to find quality in-home care services and caregivers for their own family members. Jaleh's mission is to educate the community about aging and senior-related issues and to be of service to seniors and their families.

Tonya Moore

Staffing Manager

Tonya holds over 15 years of experience in HR and Client Manager duties. Her philosophy is that failure is not an option and she does whatever it takes to make sure seniors she works with have the best caregivers possible. Tonya has been a Therapeutic Foster Parent for 13 years, taking in at-risk kids. She has always loved to help, love, and support others. She is proud that her job allows her to provide care to the elderly so that she is able to help, love, and support on the job as well as home. Tonya's favorite part about working with seniors is being able to lend a helping hand.

Kathy Schultz, RN

RN Supervisor

Kathy has been an RN since 1982 and has practiced in PA, NJ and now NC. Her nursing experience includes medical-surgical nursing in hospitals, school nursing and home care. For the past six years, Kathy has primarily worked in home care with a focus in geriatrics. She enjoys working with seniors because their life stories inspire her. These stories help Kathy appreciate the diversity in everyone's lives and how hard others' lives have been without the benefits that many of us take for granted. The ability to work with seniors and their families in their homes is Kathy's favorite part of her job. She believes aging in place is a great gift that we can give seniors in our community.
