Home Care Assistance Welcomes Carla Geronca as Operations Manager to Pasadena
Geronca will play an important role in the Pasadena community and surrounding areas by serving their rapidly growing senior population
(Pasadena, California – February 5, 2018) – Home Care Assistance, a leading provider of in-home care for seniors, is proud to welcome Carla Geronca as Operations Manager to the company’s Pasadena location.
Carla’s experience combined experience with caregiving and LVN school and her roles as agency receptionist and staffing manager make her the perfect fit for the Operations Manager role for the Pasadena office. She has experience taking care of her own grandparents as well as non-family members, so she understands what her caregivers go through on their shifts as well as the client’s expectations for care. This experience has given Carla the patience, understanding, and heart needed for her new role.
Carla enjoys assuring clients and their families that they can continue with their daily lives with the help of our caregivers. She brings her personal philosophy of, “treat others how you want to be treated” to every interaction she has, whether it’s with clients of staff. Carla enjoys her job because she gets to meet and talk to different people and personalities, hear stories and tackle difficult problems. Making sure her team, caregivers, clients and their families are all happy is what makes her thrive.
“I’m proud to be part of a home care team that strives to make a difference in the lives of Pasadena seniors,” said Geronca. “At Home Care Assistance, our mission is to change the way the world ages through unique offerings such as the Balanced Care Method™, a holistic approach to care, and the Cognitive Therapeutics Method™, a proactive approach to brain health.”
Based on the scientific studies of the world’s healthiest seniors, the Balanced Care Method™ promotes five key lifestyle factors correlated with healthy longevity: healthy diet, physical exercise, active social ties, mental stimulation and a sense of purpose and calm. Caregivers are professionally trained to incorporate the Method into daily care to encourage healthy mind, body and spirit for our clients. In addition, the Cognitive Therapeutics Method™ is a research-based program designed to promote long-term brain health and prevent cognitive decline by stimulating the five main cognitive domains with fun and engaging activities.
As the leading provider of daily care, Home Care Assistance staff is available 24/7 to provide experienced, trustworthy caregivers to help with all home care needs for seniors including transportation, healthy meal preparation, companionship, socialization, activities, personal care, medication reminders and dementia care services.
