With a background in customer service, Anna excels at communicating with others to ensure that our high standard of care is upheld. Her personal objective is to give back, which is why she enjoys being a part of an organization that improves the quality of life for older adults. Anna is a dedicated and driven team member who embodies our mission to change the way the world ages.

Cherie Adriano

Senior Caregiver Recruiter

Cherie brings over 15 years of professional experience in business along with 5 years working as a caregiver and medical technician. She has degrees in both Business Accounting and Nursing. This combined expertise allows her to succeed in her role as Hiring Manager, where she hires and trains caregivers as well as provides excellent customer service and client care. Cherie's compassionate and positive personality enable her to effectively communicate with clients and caregivers to help our Alamo office provide exceptional in-home care.

Colleen Collins

Client Care Manager

Colleen has been in the health care field for over a decade. However, her at-home care experience began when, at the age of thirteen, she started caring for her elderly church neighbors as well as her grandmother. This included sleeping at their homes at night, preparing meals and shopping for them. She also had first-hand experience with caring for a loved one when her mother-in-law was diagnosed with dementia. Colleen's area of expertise is working with individuals with dementia and helping both the individual and the family cope, in part by sharing best practices with the families of her clients. Colleen loves working with the seniors in her community. She feels very fortunate to have been very close to her grandparents and aunts & uncles growing up and I believes they were influential in developing her personality and love for helping others. Colleen loves knowing that she makes a difference every day in the lives of seniors and their families.

As the Home Care Liaison, Lars coordinates premier care for seniors and provides area resources for their loved ones and eldercare professionals. Lars brings years of both professional and personal experience to the community. His personal philosophy is one of servitude and developing creative outcomes for challenging care situations. Lars' mission is to Change the Way the World Ages, one family at a time. From an early age, Lars experienced first hand how Alzheimer's and dementia affected his grandfather. He also experienced how it impacted his life and the trials and tribulations that followed within his family dynamics. Learning how to care for his grandfather's needs and allowing him to live a full and meaningful life is why he's now passionate about working with families in the field of health care.

Micah Boongaling

Staffing Manager

Micah's area of expertise lies in creating and organizing the schedules for caregivers and clients. This includes daily updates on client and employee changes. Micah works to ensuring that all clients are staffed with qualified employees before she goes home for the evening. She prides herself on developing a system of staff communication that ensured proper implementation of treatment plans and comprehensive patient care. Micah received a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and is working on my MS in Clinical Psychology at Wright Institute. Her personal philosophy is "Work Hard - Play Hard" because she believes that a good work life balance brings success.

Micah is passionate about her job because she loves to work with others. She sees the advantage of working in a team and believes in the age old adages that "two heads are better than one' and "teamwork makes the dream work." For Micah, teamwork has the benefit of accessing more ideas, working in harmony and helping each other for achieving mutual goals.

Ruby's career experience includes Management and Customer Service. She has been in Customer Service for 25 years and in Management for 5 years. This experience makes her a great fit for serving and staffing her HCA caregivers. She enjoys helping people in any way she can. What she loves about her job is the satisfaction at the end of the day knowing that she's made someone smile/happy! Ruby is excited to use her skills and serve her clients the best she can.

She received her degree in Business Administration, Marketing and previously held a position as an account manager at another home care agency. Shelby has watched her loved ones grow older and become more dependent on other people, so she understands how much aging affects everyone involved. Laura has over a decade of experience in the medical field, where she has served as a medical assistant and front office manager. She is a certified MA with the state of California and worked for 10 years with an Internal Medicine DR who specialized in Geriatrics. Laura enjoys helping families and making them aware of all the options they have regarding home care. She hopes to help seniors live safely and independently at home.

Mina Yap

Care Advisor

Mina is a Licensed Vocational Nurse and began her career in health care in 2011. Since then, she has learned a lot in her many roles. She started as a hospice nurse and then became a nurse for concierge doctor, home health nurse, and intake coordinator for a home health & caregiving agency. Mina believes that helping people who can't help themselves is what we are here for. By working for Home Care Assistance, she feels she can make a difference in the lives of seniors and help the home care industry thrive.

Danielle brings over 20 years of customer service and operations experience to her position at Home Care Assistance. Danielle started in the health care industry in 2014 as a Managed Care Coordinator for a specialty pharmacy. She worked closely with patients and physicians coordinating their pharmacy care plan.
