"We felt so much better about keeping Mother and Father at home."
"In 2013 my father had a stroke after providing two years of care for my mother with dementia. We weren't sure what to do but once we met the team from Home Care Assistance, we felt so much better about keeping mother and father at home. The managers were great about coaching and supporting the caregivers while also guiding us. I couldn't be more thankful. Bless you all for the work you do."- C.M.
"It was clear they needed someone to be there regularly to check up on them."
"My parents are in their late 80s but still live at home. Their mobility is limited but they are determined to stay "interdependent". All of their children, myself included, visit regularly and do light chores, assistance, and errands. But it was clear that they needed someone to be there regularly to check up on them and their needs. Currently we have someone, who they are very pleased with, come in two times a week for four hours at a time. We hope they have her come in more often - when they are ready."- C.H.
"Professional, prompt, and responsive."
"They were very professional, prompt, and responsive in setting up care in a short period of time. They worked with my in-laws to get them to accept they care that they really needed."- C.B.
"She was warm and efficient."
"The driver arrived in front of my building early, called a few minutes before the designated time, got me to the appointment early despite commute traffic, waited until the procedure was over, and drove me home. She was warm, efficient, and questioned if I was fine or needed anything else. I highly recommend Home Care Assistance for any procedure where the medical provider says the patient cannot/should not drive themselves."- L.L.
"Our caregiver feeds my Dad well-balanced meals and helps him with bathing and exercising."
"Home Care Assistance has been very responsive and easy to work with. The male attendant we currently have is awesome. He feeds my Dad well-balanced meals, helps him with bathing and exercising. He knows what to do and how to do it and doesn't shy away from any task. We are all very happy with him."- V.S.
"Caregivers have been wonderful to work with."
"Thank you, Home Care Assistance Oakland team, for everything you all have done. You bring a quality of caring and compassion which few can match. Your caregivers have been wonderful to work with and we know it is because of the detail you put into finding the right caregiver for each situation. We also appreciate your on-call 24/7 support too!"- J.W.
"Superb in their responsiveness."
"As a private professional fiduciary I am always needing caregiver assistance for many of my clients. I have found HCA to be one of the best I have worked with. Jill in the Oakland office is superb in her responsiveness to meet the needs of my clients. The personal service from the admin office and the caregivers is excellent. They are there when needed and can supply a caregiver fast."- S.P.
"I never have to worry."
