Recent Grant Winners
Mary works full-time and takes care of both her mother-in-law who has Alzheimer's and her husband with COPD. She is tremendously grateful for the respite grant so that she can spend the weekend relaxing and sleeping past 5AM.

Rachel and her sister care for their mother, who was diagnosed with cancer, but also suffers from depression. She has been a source of physical - but especially - emotional support for her mother and deserves a break.

Veronica currently cares for her mom and her grandmother who both have Alzheimer's. She left her marketing career in Chicago to move to Dallas to take care of both her mom and grandmother. She is very thankful for the Respite Grant and will use it for a spa retreat that has a pool or beach!

Lorraine has been caring for her aunt for over 10 years, showing amazing commitment. She deserves a break so she can visit her cousin who she hasn't seen in years.

Lorna's 77-year-old mother worked three jobs to take care of her children and make sure they were well provided for and she now makes it priority to take care of her. She is very thankful for the respite grant and will use it so that she and her husband can spend time walking on the beach, holding hands and being still with one another.
