Events like these increase awareness of how important a healthy diet is for seniors. This is part of our second in-house program, The Balanced Care Method™. This program emphasizes well being through a healthy mind, body and spirit.

Our caregivers are there to provide both physical and emotional support to seniors. Clients and caregivers can enjoy a nice walk around Vasona Lake or stroll through downtown Los Gatos and window shop. Is your loved one passionate about wine or the arts? Our caregivers can go on a trip to the Byington Vineyard or Montalvo Arts Center with them.

Speak with a Care Advisor today to see how home care can benefit your loved one. We’re available 24/7 to discuss your care needs and come up with a plan that is right for you.

Why Use Home Care Services Offered By Home Care Assistance

As your elderly relatives continue aging, they need some extra assistance. You can choose to provide the extra assistance on your own or you can hire a home care service provider for the same. They might have a hard time taking their medication, cleaning their homes, doing laundry or a few other chores in the house. Here are a few reasons why Home Care Assistance is the best choice to provide home care services for your elderly relatives.

Immediately you realize that your older relatives require home care assistance, the first step is looking for the best help out there. They need personalized care whether it’s just one of your grandparents or all of them. Home care services are useful because you don’t need to place them in a healthcare facility.

Your elderly relatives can stay in their houses and the medical professionals will come to them. The professionals at Home Care Assistance will always strive to provide your grandparents with the best possible care, regardless of their condition.

Senior Care

If you take a good look at the senior elderly care services available at Home Care Assistance, you will be pleased. The business understands how to take care of the elderly, whether parents, grandparents or anyone in the immediate family. First step is assessing the needs they have then consulting with the doctor in question to guarantee the best care.

Elderly Care

Remember, as age catches up with them, a few underlying conditions might come up so it’s good to let the professionals handle their needs accordingly.

Alzheimer's Care

Do you have a grandparent suffering from Alzheimer’s disease? They are likely going to experience brain degeneration and start forgetting a lot of things on their day to day lives. With time, there is a definitive cognitive decline and a few behavioral changes such as mood shifts and depression.

Parkinson's Care

It is a condition that might affect someone’s sleeping patterns and also bring up a few muscular problems. Someone suffering from Parkinson’s disease will also experience tremors in the feet or hands as well as muscle rigidity. Therefore, they have a hard time moving around and need a lot of help.

Dementia Care

An elderly person suffering from dementia will experience behavioral and psychological symptoms in most cases. The cognitive functions are completely compromised thus they will forget things a lot and might experience limited social skills. They often keep to themselves and avoid social contact because of victimization.

Stroke Care

Someone who has suffered from a stroke is likely to display various symptoms. For instance, they might have muscular difficulties because of lack of coordination and might suffer from blurry vision. A stroke victim is also likely to become tired easily and feel lightheaded. One of the noticeable symptoms is that they have slurred speech among many more. It's certain that they wouldn't have an idea of how to take care of themselves every day.

Cancer Care

There are a few types of cancer such as breast, prostate, lung, throat and brain cancer among many more. Elderly people often develop basal cancer as well as melanomas. They might have a hard time going to their chemotherapy treatments or taking the necessary medication at the right time.
