Autumn Harrison

Home Care Liaison

Autumn has worked in the health care industry in Orange County for almost 10 years. She began in a skilled nursing facility as an administrative assistant and grew within the company until she was the Director of Marketing and Admissions. She wanted to expand her knowledge of home health care services so she began to work at a home care, home health and hospice company in Orange County. Learning about these three types of care made her passionate about home care. Autumn believes that each person deserves to have a high quality of life at all points of their life, especially in our elder years, and that we all have to work together to help one another get the quality of life we need. Autumn loves working with seniors because they have such a wealth of knowledge. She feels as though she has always had an old soul and loves the connections she builds with the elders in her community.

Christine Parnell

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Christine has been recruiting for years and began her recruiting career in the life sciences industry, finding talent to consult in the pharmaceutical and medical device space. Her specialty is in social media networking through LinkedIn and fostering those relationships. Christine received a BA in Human Development with an emphasis in counseling services. That background in human development, psychology and counseling has taught her how to communicate and work with a variety of different people. Her personal philosophy is that “attitude is everything.” Christine tries to take a positive approach to her work and personal life by being optimistic. She loves that she gets to meet and work with all different types of people in her role and finds it most rewarding when she helps someone land an opportunity that fosters their career growth and advancement. Her favorite part of working with seniors is knowing she is helping to keep them safe and at home where they truly want to be.

Wendie Evans

Staffing Manager

Prior to being hired as a Staffing Manager at Home Care Assistance, Wendie Evans worked for other home care providers as a staffing manager for more over three years. Previous to this role, Wendie was a full-time assistant store manager for a large retail location. There she gained experience in scheduling, exceptional customer service, team building and leadership. Wendie is a true Capricorn and enjoys helping others and making others happy. She enjoys working with the aging population and seeing our care team become a part of our client’s lives.

Alexis Montinola

Director of Operations

Alexis is an industry veteran with a decade of experience in senior care, and is among the most knowledgeable and best connected senior care experts in Orange County. Alexis was most recently the Director of Community Relations at another top home care company, and is excited to grow further at HCA - building the strongest team and reputation in Orange County as well as developing her skills as both a local leader and a sales leader.

Ashley Dadivas

Client Care Manager

Ashley always knew she wanted to be a nurse when she grew up. In fact, she was a nurse on Career Day in Kindergarten. Her passion for helping others began at a very young age and has only grown stronger throughout the years. Ashley has been a nurse for over 5 years and has experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, home health and home care. She aspires to provide quality care in the best way that she possibly can and give each family the peace of mind, knowing that their loved ones are in good hands.

Jessica Bamsey

Lead Staffing Manager

Jessica nearly a decade of experience in the health care industry and most recently served as Director of Rehab Services for a competitive home health agency. She has excelled in recruiting and looks forward to building a great team of caregivers here at HCA. She will also work on process development to ensure the best care for our clients and efficiency in staffing.

Jessica Pascasio

Head of Operations

Jessica has worked in the health field for nearly a decade. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Science with an emphasis in Nursing. This will allow her to serve as an advocate and resource to the rapidly growing senior population in Southern California. She most recently served as Director of Admissions at a 5-Star Skilled Nursing Facility and will be an integral part of our Newport Beach operation.

Jonna Hernandez

Regional Director of Bus. Dev., SoCal

Jonna's professional experience is in sales, mentoring, and strategic market development. Her education includes a B.A. in Human Communication Studies from California State University, Fullerton and a M.A. in Counseling from Azusa Pacific University. Jonna started in the health care industry in 2011 as an Admissions and Marketing Director for a skilled nursing facility. She has extensive sales experience in the post-acute sector including skilled nursing facilities, home health, and non-medical home care. Jonna's most recent position was the Area Operations and Sales Manager for a non-medical home care agency for Orange County, South Bay, and Inland Empire regions. Jonna's personal philosophy is to change the outlook of how others view and experience senior healthcare. She is absolutely thrilled to be a part of an innovative team that is truly defining how the world is aging.

Karen Katigbak

Caregiver Recruiter

Karen has always deeply cared for those around her. She grew up caring for the elders in her family and saw that it made them feel loved and like they weren’t alone, which made her want to make a difference in the lives of others.

Karen brings a background of customer service to her position with Home Care Assistance. She worked in the hospitality industry for many years and one of her favorite positions was as a concierge. As the "go-to" for all guests concerns and issues she learned empathy, which she now utilizes when working with her clients. When she lived in the Philippines, she worked as a recruiter and screened, interviewed and hired hundreds of applicants. When she came back to the US from the Philippines, she started caregiving. During her 10 years as a caregiver, she always had long-term cases and her patients were all very dear to her. To this day she remembers them with loving thoughts.

She works by the philosophy, “Do your best for the moment. Let the past be your teacher and the future be your goal” and in her free time, she loves crafting, painting and cooking.

Pablo Hurtado

Home Care Liaison

Pablo's area of expertise is home health and home care. He started in healthcare at skilled nursing facilities as an admissions assistant/business office billing patients insurances. He then worked by way to admissions director and eventually given the opportunity to be the marketing director at a skilled nursing facility. A year and a half after that Pablo was introduced into home health. He had the knowledge and relationships from the skilled facilities experience and was then able to bridge himself into home health. He helped his agency partner with one of the major hospitals in the area, getting them an office on site and becoming one of their 5 preferred providers.

Pablo graduated from LVN school about 2 years ago and is currently exploring options into a bridge program for LVN to RN- BSN program. With his LVN degree, Pablo has learned to better help patients and their families when making informed decisions concerning home health, homecare, hospice or skilled nursing facility needs. Coming from the skilled background he can assist with any guidance they may need as well as facilitate placing them at a SNF.

Pablo has been in healthcare for over 8 years and enjoyed every minute of it. He enjoys his position because he wants every person he interacts with to have a great experience and feel he was able to help/guide them with clarity. Pablo works to treat every family or client with the care he would give his own grandparents. He enjoys seeing people smile and learn new things from him about our services and how we can help them. Pablo likes for patients, families, and anyone inquiring information to ask him questions and encourages them to always reach out.

Elaina Davis

Care Advisor

Elaina brings over 10 years of customer service experience to her role at Home Care Assistance, Her specialty is educating clients on our services with compassion and understanding. Elaina loves working as a client advocate to help each client find the best solution for their needs. Relieving stress from family caregivers and helping seniors to remain in their homes is what she finds most fulfilling in her role. Elaina's favorite part about working in customer service is answering the questions a client may not have even realized they need to ask. She aims to take as much of the work off of the client as possible, making the process as stress-free as possible. She looks forward to making a difference in the lives of local seniors!

Mina Yap

Care Advisor

Mina is a Licensed Vocational Nurse and began her career in health care in 2011. Since then, she has learned a lot in her many roles. She started as a hospice nurse and then became a nurse for concierge doctor, home health nurse, and intake coordinator for a home health & caregiving agency. Mina believes that helping people who can't help themselves is what we are here for. By working for Home Care Assistance, she feels she can make a difference in the lives of seniors and help the home care industry thrive.

James Ferlin

Laura has over a decade of experience in the medical field, where she has served as a medical assistant and front office manager. She is a certified MA with the state of California and worked for 10 years with an Internal Medicine DR who specialized in Geriatrics. Laura enjoys helping families and making them aware of all the options they have regarding home care. She hopes to help seniors live safely and independently at home.

Yvonne Razo

Care Advisor

Yvonne has over ten years of experience in the medical field, working for a large in-home respiratory provider. She worked closely with physicians and hospitals to provide life-sustaining equipment dedicated to keeping aging seniors in their own homes. Yvonne is skilled at working with clients’ loved ones to help ensure an easy transition even though the seniors may have difficult health issues. She finds fulfillment in knowing that working in the home care field makes a difference in clients’ lives in a time of need.
