Tracy Lara

Staffing Manager

I attended UCLA and graduated with a degree in Psychology and a minor in both Spanish and Applied Developmental Psychology.
For the past four years I have worked closely with preschool children and their families. The past two years I worked and provided ABA therapy to children and adults with Autism. I also worked closely with their families, training them and supporting them on such a difficult journey . One of my biggest passion's in life is helping others in need and providing them with my help, support, and compassion. I'm new to the senior care industry but I have a firm belief that in the same way that I have helped children with special needs, I can help seniors and their families. In the future, I hope that my background in Psychology can allow me conduct research on ways to improve the way seniors age. I have a strong interest in the CTM Program.

Calabasas’ Resources

We strive to inform and educate. Here is a small sample of resources we have to offer to help you make the best decision for your family.

Top Rated Home Care Services Offered By Home Care Assistance

A company by the name of Home Care Assistance has been providing home care for the elderly for many years. They offer top rated services that you might want to take advantage of. Whether this is for your parents, grandparents, or other elderly people that are in your family, they will be well cared for when they start to receive help from these professionals.

Caregiver for your loved ones in the comfort of their own house in Calabasas California

The reason that you will want them to come out to their home is that most elderly people don't want to move out. Instead of placing them in a gated community for the elderly, you can send the professionals to them directly. This might be the only way that the elderly people will be open to receiving any type of help at all. This is how it typically is with those that are older that are in need of professional elderly care.

Senior and Elderly Care

Senior care facilities might be a measure of last resort later on, but for now, providing them with home care services is probably apropos. They could be suffering from diseases or conditions that make it difficult for them to care for themselves. They may start to forget their medications, or even those that they have known for years or decades. These problems can be caused by well-known and documented conditions such as Parkinson's, dimension or Alzheimer's.

Alzheimer's

The reason that Alzheimer's may require you to use the services offered by Home Care Assistance is that Alzheimer's disease will affect their behaviors and cognitive condition. Not only will they forget things, but they may start imagining different things throughout the day. Their behavior can become erratic, prompting the need for this level of professional in-home help.

Parkinson's Disease

This condition can cause many different symptoms. This would be loss of balance, stiffness, and also slow movement. Muscle rigidity, or the development of a shuffling gait, will often lead to needing in-house care just so they can get around.

Dementia

The symptoms of dementia are categorized as psychological, behavioral, and also cognitive. It can also affect you muscular lead. Elderly people that have this will easily get lost, hallucinate things, and even develop a sense of paranoia.

Stroke Victim Care

Although having a heart attack can be debilitating, stroke victims often end up paralyzed, making it so difficult for them to help themselves. They may not be able to speak, move, and eventually they may develop cognitive issues. That's why in-home care from a medical company would be so helpful.

Cancer

If the elderly person in your family has cancer, you may want to speak with a representative of this business to get them the help that they will need. It is so important that they do their treatments on time, and take their medications, if they have any chance of fighting this debilitating disease.

About Our Caregiving

The caregivers at Home Care Assistance will be more than willing to speak with you about giving home care services to your elderly family member. They have a history of only providing the most highly trained professionals that will be dispatched to their home. They can handle people that suffer from all of the conditions listed above. If you need to speak with someone at Home Care Assistance, find out more about the many programs that they have available today.
