Home Care Assistance CEO, Lily Sarafan, was recently recognized as Women Health Care Executives 2016 Woman of the Year at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco! Women Health Care Executives (WHCE) is a community of professional women in the San Francisco Bay Area who have formed a support network to encourage the development of their careers across the health care industry. This prestigious award is given annually to a woman who is a fearless leader and who has made exceptional contributions to the health care field. On behalf of Home Care Assistance, we would like to extend warm congratulations to Lily on earning this distinguished award!
Karen Stander, WHCE President, kicked off the event with opening remarks, followed by Scholarships Co-Chairs Jillian Springer and Do Kim’s presentation of the WHCE scholarship awards. Scholarship recipients included Naineen Kandahari and Amanda Ferguson both from the University of California, Berkeley.
WHCE President-Elect Bryanna Gallaway introduced the 2016 Woman of the Year award, followed by introductions by Fay Ehsan, Lily’s Mother, Chen Xie, Home Care Assistance’s CFO and VP of Corporate Operations, Roya Soleimani, Google’s Corporate Communications Manager, and Howard Wolf, Vice President for Alumni Affairs of Stanford University. Among all the speakers, the common thread was admiration for Lily’s drive and determination and praise for her success and accomplishments.
As Lily took the stage, she spoke on her passion for leadership from a young age, her drive for innovation and her commitment to successful aging. She highlighted key trends in America’s aging demographic along with her vision for a world where seniors thrive, a vision that aligns with Home Care Assistance’s mission to change the way the world ages.
Lily’s genuine enthusiasm for her work and all that she does is more than inspirational; it is contagious, pushing Home Care Assistance to new heights in 2016! With Lily at the helm, Home Care Assistance looks forward to continuing to innovate the home care space and providing the highest quality of in-home care for older adults across the world.
