An oven-safe 10-12 inch skillet or cast iron sauté pan
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp of Cooking Oil or Butter
- 1 each 2-3 lb Turkey Breast; Skin on or off and Rib bones may be intact
- 1 tsp ground Sage
- 1 tsp dried Thyme
- Sea Salt and Pepper
- 1 Tbsp of Cooking Oil or Butter
Preparation
- Preheat Oven to 350 degrees
- In a Saute Pan, place Oil or Butter and heat over medium-high heat
- Season Turkey Breast with Salt and Pepper on both sides
- Place Turkey Breast in pan skin-side or round side down. Cook for about 3 minutes, or until skin is golden brown
- Flip Turkey Breast over and turn off the heat. While still in the pan, sprinkle Sage, Thyme and more Salt and Pepper over the entire skin side
- Place pan with Turkey Breast in over. Cook for 35-40 minutes
- Let it rest for 10 minutes so that juices don’t seep out when cut. Slice into thin pieces and serve with your favorite sides
