Kim Guerci

Regional Director

Kim brings over 30 years of experience in long-term care to her role at Home Care Assistance. She also worked in therapeutic recreation for 13 years, sales and marketing for nine and operations for eight. In addition, Kim is trained in Alzheimer’s/dementia care.

One of her personal goals is to educate people on how to navigate long term care services. She feels at her best when she helps someone find the care they need. She loves home care because it allows people to remain in their own home for as long as possible. Kim looks forward to helping seniors in her community achieve their goal of aging in place.

Fiona Grandison, RN BSN

Client Care Manager

Fiona has worked in the healthcare industry for the past 27 years. She began her career at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda Maryland as a medical secretary. Fiona went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistance and now presently, a Registered Nurse. She has worked in various healthcare facilities in the Washington metropolitan area. Her experience has been working with mentally challenged, autistic children and the geriatric population. Fiona's area of expertise is emergency nursing. She has a bachelor of science in nursing degree and is licensed both in Maryland and the District of Columbia. In her nursing profession, Fiona follows the core values of the medical profession by practicing the bioethical principal of non-maleficence, causing no harm to her client. She values and respects each client’s individuality. Fiona is a people person and enjoys talking about health and ways in which to improve health. Fiona has a caring and compassionate personality. She takes the time to listen to the concerns of seniors she works with. In her spare time, Fiona likes writing poetry, entertaining and researching how to better the health of herself and others.

Joseph Munoz

Client Care Advisor

Joseph brings ten years of customer service experience to his role at Home Care Assistance. His love for helping clients and the ability to personally make a difference in someone's life is what motivates him. Joseph loves working with each client to help find the best solution for their needs. Relieving stress from families and helping seniors remain in their homes with proper care is what he finds most fulfilling in his role. His goal daily is to change the lives he comes across on each phone call and ensure they have the care needed. He looks forward to making a difference in the lives of local seniors!

Ty’riek Layne

Client Care Advisor

Ty'riek "Ty" Layne has worked for Home Care Assistance for almost three years in a variety of departments. He began as a Staffing Manager and was then promoted to Client Care Manager He is currently pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Biological and Medical Sciences with the goal of going to medical school and becoming a doctor. He would like to use his skills to improve the lives of those around him and decrease the health disparities within various underserved communities. Ty understands that care is not always easy to accept or cope with, so he is honored to be apart of providing families with the best experience possible.

Client Care Advisor

Julia has worked in the home care industry since 2017 and enjoys making a positive impact on families during their search for home care. She is passionate about guiding families through what can seem like a daunting process and helping to make the process as pleasant and easy as possible. Julia strives to lead a balanced and holistic lifestyle and feels very passionate about our Balanced Care Method’s focus on holistic care. Staffing Manager

Brandie brings nearly a decade of experience with the geriatric population, in both assisted and independent living settings. She received her BS in Community Health and MA in Healthcare Administration. Brandie has also enjoyed volunteering with hospice organizations for the past two years. Her personal philosophy is to "live and let live." Brandie enjoys contributing to patient-centered care and empowering others by offering a helping hand, advocating for them, and helping them build skills. She is happy to be a part of a strong team that focuses on providing the best care to every client.

Elena Komarova, RN

RN Supervisor

Elena began my work in health care as a specialized OR nurse in Russia. After coming to the United States, she worked in various health care positions from a CNA/CMT to a Nurse Supervisor. Elena harbors experience as a nurse supervisor in the home care and assisted living fields. She is thrilled to now be part of the Bethesda Home Care Assistance team.

Shauna Lee Williams

HR Coordinator and Office Manager

Before joining Home Care Assistance, Shauna-Lee worked with Sunrise of Arlington as the Business Office Coordinator. Prior to this experience, she worked as a Staffing Coordinator for LivHome Inc. Shauna-Lee brings over 9 years of home care experience. She earned her MBA, Business Administration/HR from Morgan State University, Baltimore, MD. She is most proud of her ability to attract and attain the best people for the organization. Her position as a Human Resource Coordinator enables her to get involved in numerous areas like recruiting, employee rights, training and development, complaints and grievances and employee health and safety . Shauna-Lee believes our CGs are the backbone of the organization and that she is here to ensure they have what they need to perform at their highest level.

As a Staffing Manager, Vinnette works hard to hire great caregivers to suit the needs and preferences of our clients. She has over 16 years of professional experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and started her career at Home Care Assistance as a caregiver. She has always been fully dedicated to the wellbeing of clients, recalling her first client requesting that she wait for her after a post-fall hospitalization.
