"We were thrilled that Home Care Assistance was able to help get Patricia (our caregiver) into our parents home to work with mom. Our Client Care Manager arranged for us to interview three caregivers who were great with memory care patients - and on short notice! My brothers and I were so grateful for the follow-up, ideas on how to handle mom, home visits and of course our caregiver, Patricia. We could not have done it without them so when we realized dad needed help we called them again!"

"It made a world of a difference!"

"I contacted Home Care Assistance Bethesda when my Uncle fell down the steps and broke his foot and elbow. The women in our family were having a hard time caring for him. Kim Guerci

Director of Operations

Kim brings over 30 years of experience in long-term care to her role at Home Care Assistance. She also worked in therapeutic recreation for 13 years, sales and marketing for nine and operations for eight and has been trained in Alzheimer's/dementia care. Kim believes the senior population is tremendously underserved. Most people do not know how to navigate through the long-term care system and have no idea what resources are available to them, how to pay for it or what they are entitled to receive. One of her personal goals is to educate people on how to navigate the system so they can get the help they need. She always feels like she has won when I help someone to find the care they need, regardless of who is providing it. She loves home care because it allows people to remain in their own space for as long as possible and she looks forward to helping seniors in her community achieve their goal of aging in place.
