- I was so impressed with Marina, the manager who came to interview me and my mom. She spent 2 hours with us, to make sure she had enough information to make sure she got the right match for a companion for my mom. A professional program, and a very caring approach.
- Home Care Assistance Santa Clarita is one of the best agencies to work for. I am a caregiver that is assigned to companion care and Mia & Marina are the BEST to work for. They are extremely well organized, professional and they have the key to success. They have great communication with the caregivers so that everyone is on the same page. I love working for them and look forward to more assignments.
- I was searching high and low on the internet for companies that could provide short term care for my mom who had hip surgery. It was frustrating trying to find someone that was trustworthy and highly recommended. Then my husband and I found Marina at Home Care Assistance. She was so accommodating and sweet. She came out to meet my mom before the surgery and came to the hospital to see how she was doing, all to make sure she assigned a great fit for her and she did! I highly recommend Marina at Home Care Assistance.
- Home Care Assistance sets the standards for how a home care agency should be ran. Thank you for your dedication to your work!

Barbara brings years of experience in the senior care industry to her position as Care Advisor for Home Care Assistance. She previously worked at A Place for Mom, where she received an in-depth education on all of the options in senior care. It became clear to her early in her career that almost everyone wants to stay independent for as long as possible and that there is a deep desire to remain in one's own home. She also saw this to be true in her own personal experience with her mom and both of her in-laws. While the home care was for her loved ones, she also saw how the experience directly benefited her own life. She believes that having a trusted homecare partner made it possible for her to be a daughter again. Barbara came to Home Care Assistance with a passion for helping others live out their lives with happiness and dignity in the home that holds their memories. She feels she has truly done her job when she can assist families in finding the peace of mind that she was able to have during her time of need.
