Vernita D. Metoyer possesses over 16 years of Personal Assistance/Home Care Services and Organizational experience in the Greater Houston and surrounding areas. Vernita's expertise includes: Client/Employee Relations, State Compliance Management, Billing/Invoicing/Payroll Management, Office Management, Unemployment/Worker Compensation Claims, Staffing Management, Excellent Customer Service, Marketing/Community Relations, Educator/Tutor/Mentor, Non-Profit Board of Directors, Organizational Development, Training/Retention and Development, and Leadership/Management.
Vernita is passionate about helping businesses make the most of their resources and talent, as well as helping individuals make the most of their Home Care experience. In addition to her accomplishments in Client Care and Management, Vernita has also provided career transition services for more than 5 years through one-on-one coaching, group workshops, and educational seminars at colleges, healthcare events, churches, universities, and nonprofit organizations.
A family oriented individual and community service advocate, Vernita holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Early Childhood Education Teaching Certificates in both Louisiana and Texas.
As the Home Care Liaison, Angela coordinates premier care for seniors by educating them and their loved ones on options available. She brings over 20 years of professional experience in the healthcare arena with a background in health education in both the private and public healthcare sector. A woman of many talents, she is known to be very resourceful. Her passion to help others maintain a quality of life while maintaining their independence at home is very important to her. Which, is very much in line with Home Care Assistance’s mission to Change the Way the World Ages.
Ginger has over 12 years of experience in her field including community relations, hospital and physician development, and excellent customer service. She has experience in long term care as well as at a skilled nursing facility, so she truly knows how important it is for seniors to be able to stay at home and age in place. Ginger lives by the philosophy of, "Work for a cause, not the applause. Live life to express, not to impress. Don't strive to make your presence noticed, make your absence felt." She loves helping people, which is why her role here at Home Care Assistance is a perfect fit. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family which includes her husband and two sons.
