The Caregiver of the Year is recognized at Home Care Assistance’s Annual Conference where franchise owners and corporate staff gather to celebrate the company’s commitment to changing the way the world ages. The recipient of the 2016 Caregiver of the Year Award is Lynn Reed of Home Care Assistance of St. Louis. Lynn is a veteran in the healthcare field with over 30 years of experience and is recognized for consistently going above and beyond what is required of her to enhance the lives of her clients. According to Haylee Berry, Employee Care Manager in St. Louis, Lynn “is such a ray of sunshine” in the lives of her clients and their families due to her positive, compassionate and outgoing nature. Lynn’s dedication, hard work and contagious optimism which helped her win this award.

  • Michael Shelby of Home Care Assistance of Centennial: After losing his wife to a rare form of cancer, Michael realized his passion for caregiving. A loving and compassionate caregiver, Michael connects with each and every client he works with and constantly looks for special ways to make his clients’ lives enjoyable and purposeful.
