Home Care Assistance Partners with Wish of a Lifetime to Grant One Wish for a Special Senior

WishPossible

At Home Care Assistance our mission is to change the way the world ages. We aim to enrich the lives of seniors by celebrating healthy aging and promoting independence. To further our mission, we have partnered with Wish of a Lifetime, a non-profit organization with a similar passion for enhancing seniors’ quality of life, who will be sponsoring one wish for a very deserving individual. Applications are now open for you to nominate yourself or a loved one to be a Wish Recipient.

If you or a loved one are eligible to apply based on the below criteria, please submit your “Wish of a Lifetime” application by visiting HomeCareAssistance.com/wishpossible. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, November 25th, 2014 at 5pm Pacific/8pm Eastern.

To be considered, nominees must:

• Be a minimum age of 65

• Be a legal resident or citizen of the United States of America

• Be unable to fulfill the wish independently

• Be capable of experiencing the wish

• Not be convicted of a felony

• Be able to obtain approval from a doctor, if necessary

Wish of a Lifetime, which was founded in 2008, has granted over 950 wishes to date! With every wish the organization grants, they create a life-enriching, meaningful experience for that senior. Each wish is an inspirational story; for example, Wish of a Lifetime organized a group of bikers to fulfill one woman’s wish of riding on a motorcycle. What was incredible about this story was that the wish extended beyond the bike ride. The group that had ridden with the woman visited her frequently over the following months, bringing gifts and flowers even when she was admitted to the hospital. She was so overwhelmed with happiness that she got out of her hospital bed, laughing and chatting away – something that was not easy to do given her condition.

We are hopeful to grant a wish for a deserving senior with the same life-changing effects and are very excited about this partnership and the #WishPossible campaign.
