As part of our roll out of the Balanced Care Method™, we have started a cooking school for our caregivers. The chef that we use for Celebrations! dinner parties for good clients will also be our chef/instructor (she is a chef/instructor at Sur la Table). It will be a hands on class conducted in the clubhouse kitchen of a large condominium complex. The class will be for 4 hours and Dorothy will be preparing 5 demonstration recipes that everyone will get to sample.
Our caregivers are very excited about the class. This month, we are going to be having 2 basic classes. We may have a class a month as well! With Dorothy’s assistance, we have put together a “Recipes for Life” cookbook (25 recipes) that we will give to our caregivers at the school. It includes easy-to-prepare, nutritious and tasty dishes, many of which can be labeled “Balanced Care Recipes.” If you are in neighborhood of San Marcos, CA on August 24 or 29, please drop in to check it out.
