Exercise Helps Rheumatoid Arthritis

There is now relief for those suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. Study shows that a new exercise regimen can improve one’s functional status and physical function, reduce the need for inflammatory drugs, while also decreasing depression in those with rheumatoid arthritis.

It is a three month program, which consists of simple aerobic andstrength exercises for 50-60 minutes, 3 to 4 times a week.

This survey was presented in Copenhagen, Denmark at the Annual Congress of the European League Against Rheumatism.
