Home Care Assistance is always recruiting talented caregivers. If you:
-have successfully completed a formal Certified Nursing Assistant training program and possess a CNA license, OR have certification from a Virginia state certified school and a minimum of 120 credit hours
-are at least 18 years of age
-have at least 2 years of experience, preferably private duty cases
-have the ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care
-have a valid Driver's License and Driver's Insurance
-have current CPR and First Aid certificates

Education and training is very important to us here at Home Care Assistance. As one of our caregivers, you will have frequent opportunities to learn and improve your skills, as well as have direction from our Director of Nursing. Each of our caregivers is instructed in a Plan of Care for the client before beginning a case, and is trained in any special skills needed to care for the client.
Additionally, state law requires every caregiver to receive 12 hours of Continuing Education credits per year. Home Care Assistance offers each of our caregivers these 12 hours of training for free through our monthly in-service training sessions. If you don't take advantage of our free training, you'll be required to pay to receive the credits elsewhere.
