Denise Schaefer (Owner/Care Manager) Denise is a 20 year veteran of the health care industry with experience in both hospital and clinic settings. She was drawn to the home health care business thorough a desire to continue to work with seniors and to enhance the quality of their lives. Her client focused approach, caring heart and unwavering passion for helping others has helped her establish one of the most trusted home care agencies in the area. |
Terri Baxter (Marketing and Sales Manager) Terri joined HomeCare Assistance in 2010. She has more than 25 years experience in customer service management and sales with The Pillsbury Co. and Edina Couriers. Her success thus far in the homecare business is a direct result of her deep compassion for others, her tenaciousness and her incredible charm and charisma. |
Greg Young (Owner/Director of Marketing) Over the past 20 years Greg has owned and operated numerous businesses in the Twin Cities area. His experience as a child watching his mother care for elderly friends and family inspired him to co-found HomeCare Assistance Minneapolis. Greg is a graduated of Macalester College in St. Paul and earned an M.B.A in Marketing from the University of Colorado. |
Shayne Brody Karasov, B.S., M.S. (Director of Community Relations) Shayne is a senior services specialist in home care & senior lifestyle, health, and aging. Over a career in public health,social services she now specializes in home care solutions and needs. The passion for home care began with the care taking of her parents and family. A native to Minneapolis Shayne brings many resources and partnerships to the home care assistance community. |
Casey Warren (Registered Nurse) I joined the Minneapolis Home Care Assistance team in January 2011. I have more than 40 years of nursing experience and most recently worked as a parish nurse at Our Lady of Grace Church. My primary responsibility as a parish nurse was to assist parishioners with their overall health needs and, more importantly, to promote health of body, mind and spirit. At Home Care Assistance I will continue my passion of providing compassionate care and promoting healthy living. |

Lucas Vasquez I/T Marketing Manager. Lucas joined Home Care Assistance after witnessing firsthand the challenge of putting a loved one in home care. His strong sense of compassion and eagerness to help those in need encouraged him to join the team. Lucas is an alumnus of the University of Minnesota where he earned a B.A. in Communication. |
